Marcus Rashford wants Man United to stay amid exit rumours

Man United striker Marcus Rashford is said to be refusing to be sold by the club this summer, according to The Sun.

This follows rumors that all the players in the Man United squad — apart from Kobbie Mainoo, Rasmus Hojlund, and Alejandro Garnacho — are being sold.

The club will undergo major changes ahead of next season as part of Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s plan to return it to its previous level of success.

Rashford endured a difficult season at Old Trafford as he scored just 8 goals in all competitions.

The Englishman was on fire last season scoring 30 goals in all competitions.

He guided the Red Devils to victory in the Carabao Cup and a top four finish in the Premier League.

However, this season has been a complete disaster for the Man United striker.

The player was dropped from the squad earlier this year after it was suspected he missed training due to his partying habits.

The Red Devils are drawn to a potential move for Rashford because, as a domestic player, any money received from the transfer would be considered pure profit, which would help them manage FFP restrictions.

But the Manchester United star wants to extend his stay at his youth club and avoid leaving Old Trafford this summer.

Rashford is a treasure for Man United

This player is estimated at £80million which has attracted Man United to consider selling him.

Rashford is still a key player for the Red Devils as he has shown many times how good he can be.

He needs support and the right space to shine and with a little consistency, he can prove his critics wrong and be an even bigger asset to the club.

Rashford will not be short of suitors if he is available on the market, but Man United need to show their faith in him and keep him at the club.
