I ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 started in Muscat, Oman. This prestigious tournament provides a platform for young cricketers from across Asia to showcase their skills and compete against their peers.

The eight teams that will participate in this tournament are divided into two. Each team will play three games in their group, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals. The winners of the playoffs will face each other in the final on October 27.
Group A includes Afghanistan A, Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A and Hong Kong. In Group B there are India A, Oman, UAE and Pakistan A. Historically, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have dominated the tournament, each having won two titles. India, with one title to their name, will also aim to make a strong impression.
Here’s a look at India A’s best playing XI, along with the strengths and expectations of each player:
1) Abhishek Sharma
- Power: Abhishek is an explosive left-arm batsman and a left-arm orthodox bowler.
