Mike Brown declined the Kings’ three-year, $21M contract extension

Sacramento Kings coach Mike Brown has not yet accepted a lucrative contract extension proposed by the team.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, Amakhosi have released a competitive deal, which includes a three-year deal worth $21 million, which can reach $27 million with bonuses.

Despite the attractive terms, Brown did not agree to an extension, reportedly demanding an annual salary of approximately $10 million.

The Sacramento Kings have made a competitive offer to head coach Mike Brown for a contract extension – three years and $21 million in 2026-27, up to $27 million in bonuses, sources said.
