MOTOCADDY TENDS CLUTCH PRO TOUR SEASON-DEFINING EVENT – Golf News

Motocaddy, the world’s leading electric cart, is playing host to the pre-season defining event of the Clutch Pro Tour this week, which will take place at Harleyford Golf Club in Buckinghamshire (10-12 September).

The Motocaddy Masters comes at an important time of the season, as it gives players a final chance to qualify for the lucrative Tour Championship which takes place at Royal Norwich at the end of the month, with the top 60 players on the Order of Merit after that. Of the 10 #TeamMotocaddy Brand Ambassadors playing on the Clutch Pro Tour this season, John Gough (3rd), Olly Huggins (4th) and Calum Farr (6th) all came through with a great shot at getting a card Challenge Tour 2025 and above. -Three players from the Order of Merit who won titles.

Designed to give developing golfers the opportunity to compete on some of the UK’s top championship courses, the Clutch Pro Tour features 16, 54-hole tournaments. For the first time, players can now earn valuable points in the Golf World Ranking.

This season, players competed for a prize fund of £50,000 per event and as well as three full Challenge Tour cards, there are also 30 Challenge Tour invitations available in 2025, with female participants being given the opportunity to compete in Ladies European Tour events. The total prize fund of £1.8 million has increased from the takeover of the top categories this season.
