The Predators, Kraken, and Canadiens are interested in Martin Necas
David Pagnotta: The Carolina Hurricanes are looking to make a ‘hockey trade’ if they move forward Martin Necas and future assets.
Among the teams believed to be interested include the Nashville Predators, Seattle Kraken and Montreal Canadiens.
Teams that could/should be interested in Jakob Chychrun
Matt Larkin of the Daily Faceoff: Ottawa Senators defenseman Jakob Chychrun is back in the rumor mill. He has one year left on his $4.6 million deal before he needs a big raise. The Sens are already paying Jake Sanderson and Thomas Chabot $16.05 million.

Eight teams could be interested in Chychrun.
Boston Bruins – The Senators are interested in Linus Ullmark. The Bruins may need more scoring help up front than at defenseman.
Chicago Blackhawks – Cap room and could replace Chychrun at the deadline if they don’t want to extend to a long-term deal. Cychrun has a list of 10 untraded teams.
Dallas Stars – If they bought Ryan Suter they would have a left tackle. Cychrun can also play on the right. Will the Stars move Mavrik Bourque? They may need to focus on RHD and deep forward.
Detroit Red Wings – Would they offer Simon Edvinsson? Could Michael Rasmussen interest the Senators? The Wings would be better off getting a defensive defenseman, someone like Chris Tanev.
Florida Panthers – Have pending UFAs in Brandon Montour, Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Dmitry Kulikov. They have only seven players under contract for next year. Can they offer Sam Bennett?
Los Angeles Kings – They are strong on the right and could use someone on the left. They are trying to find out before he is transported to Ottawa. The Kings may need to get goals up front and not on the green line.
New Jersey Devils – May be looking to add to their blue line depth. Can they offer Dawson Mercer? They may not really need someone like Chychrun.

Winnipeg Jets – They need help on the blue line and have Nikolaj Ehlers to provide it. The Jets may or may not be on the trade list for Chychrun.
