Chad DeDominics: Sources have confirmed that the Buffalo Sabres, barring a last-minute trade, will buy out the final three years of Jeff Skinner’s contract.

The acquisition of Jeff Skinner is an interesting one because it really benefits the Sabers in 2024/25 more than any other season compared to next season’s acquisitions.
It wouldn’t be my first choice but then again I’m not a GM, they are more willing to work in the short term because of job security. pic.twitter.com/u7PWKu26E6

Jeff Skinner to be purchased by #LetsGoBuffalo
He has been consistent over the years but has many strong campaigns under his belt. He should be productive and can be a sleeper depending on where you live. pic.twitter.com/yZ2wUhTjHM

Jeff Skinner will be purchased by BUF.
– A very efficient goal scorer
– Solid chance creator, especially off the rush
– Fixed player
– Not much of a puck carrier
– A fast but slow skater
– Not being involved defensively and forward with a thin body pic.twitter.com/cincRug9ZZ– JFresh (@JFreshHockey) June 26, 2024
