The success continued as two players used Nippon Shaft irons on Sunday (Nov 10) to win on the men’s DP World (European) Tour and Japan Golf Tour.
Paul Waring, Englishman, 39, used NSPRO MODUS³ Tour 120 puts in the irons for a two-shot victory at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship in Abu Dhabi. While third place finisher Tyrrell Hatton, Rory Mcllroy, Thorbjorn Olesen and Matt Wallace used Nippon Shaft. NSPRO MODUS³ Tour 120 metal instruments in their instruments.
Waring shot 24-under and rounds of 64-61-73-66-264 to win his second DP World Tour event. He also earned dual membership on the DP World and PGA Tours in 2025, a spot in the Open Championship at Royal Portrush and moved up to No. 5 in the Race to Dubai rankings.
On the Japan Golf Tour (JGTO) Mitsui Sumitomo Visa Taiheiyo Masters winner R. Ishikawa used NSPRO MODUS³ Tour 125 in his instruments and strings. The 33-year-old shot 11-under 269 with rounds of 66-71-65-67 and won 40 million yen ($260,000).
