Pat Cummins is set to light up Major League Cricket after leading SRH to the IPL 2024 final

Australian cricket star Pat Cummins will reportedly join the growing list of Aussies to compete in the upcoming season of Major League Cricket (MLC) in the USA. The news comes after Cummins led Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to in the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The right-arm pacer turned the tide for SRH, who ended the 2023 IPL campaign at the bottom of the table.

Pat Cummins set to appear at MLC 2024

This position in the MLC will cap a difficult but successful season for Cummins. The second season of the MCL will begin on July 5

The MLC excitement continues to build as the league prepares for its second season, starting on July 5, just a week after the T20 World Cup in the USA. MLC recently got List-A status from International Cricket Council (ICC)becoming the second Associate-run franchise to achieve this distinction, following the UAE’s ILT20.

Fans can expect an exciting opening day doubleheader. The defending champions MI New York will take the runners-up Seattle Orcasfollowed by i Texas Super Kings dealing with LA Knight Riders. The stage is set for another action-packed season for the MLC, with the addition of Cummins sure to add another layer of star power and excitement to the league.
