Status report

  • Ivany stepped in for Letang, a defender who will miss his first game of the season.
  • Nieto will make his season debut; he hasn’t played since Nov. 30, 2023, when he suffered a left knee injury that led to MCL reconstruction surgery in May. He will replace Lizotte, a forward who left in the first half of a 3-2 overtime loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday after being struck in the face by O’Connor’s shot.
  • Jarry will make his first start from October 16; he was recalled on November 9 following his stay with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League.
