Radha Yadav sings as India whitewash Bangladesh in Women’s T20I series

Indian team they continued their rule over Bangladesh in the Women’s T20I series as they defeated their hosts in the fifth and final T20I to register a sweep. Despite posting 156/5 on the scoreboard, India produced a quality performance, especially by their bowlers as the home team only managed 135/6, losing the tournament by 21 runs.

Smriti Mandhana, Dayalan Hemalatha took India to a competitive total
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, India Women posted a challenging total of 156/5 in their allotted 20 overs. The innings was strengthened by important contributions from Smriti Mandhana (33 runs off 25 balls), Dayalan Hemalatha (37 runs off 28 balls), and Harmanpreet Kaur (30 runs off 24 balls). Richa Ghosh’s quickfire 28 off 17 balls bolstered the Indian total.
Despite a strong effort, Bangladesh’s bowling attack could not contain the Indian batsmen Rabeya Khan being the best bowler for Bangladesh, he got 2 wickets for 28 runs in his 4 overs.

Radha Yadav destroys Bangladesh’s batting unit
Chasing a target of 157 runs to win, Bangladesh Women fought bravely but failed, managing 135/6 in their 20 overs. Hi Ritu Bangladesh top-scored with a gritty 37 off 33 balls, while the blows came out Ruby Haider (20) and Shorifa Khatun (28) kept their hopes alive.
However, the Indian bowlers proved too strong, with Radha Yadav leading the attack with figures of 3 wickets for 24 runs in his 4 overs. Asha Sobhana he also chipped in with important wickets, taking 2 wickets for 25 runs in his 4 overs.
