Real Madrid transfer news: Endrick threatens to leave

With the 2024/25 La Liga season just one game old, Real Madrid were not expected to hear that one of their players was considering leaving.

Especially if the player is said to have signed for the club this summer.

Such is life in big league football, that unless you’re a solid 10 out of 10 player, you’re not guaranteed to play every week.

Football players as they are, it is expected that they should always be the first choice, however, the manager can only choose 11 players, in the end, others will always be disappointed.

Real Madrid’s Endrick wants to leave

That seems to be the case with young, world-class striker Endrick.

The Brazilian talent has long been watched at the Santiago Bernabeu, but soon found life in Europe very different from the acclaim he enjoyed in his homeland.

Firstly, he has Kylian Mbappe ahead of him in the pecking order, and it is unlikely that the France captain will make it through unless he is injured or the game is a dead rubber.

Endrick follows Kylian Mbappe in the Real Madrid squad and wants to leave in January if he doesn’t get enough minutes.

Whether it was Mbappe or another big name up front, that should have been something Endrick and his representatives looked at when they were courted by Los Blancos 18 months or so ago.

Even Vini Jr., who can be considered a worthy contender for the Ballon d’Or these days, did not have it all his way in the early days in Madrid.

Indeed, 36 appearances in all competitions covering 1,500 minutes in Vini Jr’s first season in Madrid, per transfermarkt, is proof enough that his countryman just needs to bide his time.

Sportingly, however, the Brazilian will request a loan move in January if he does not get what he considers to be enough minutes in the first half of the current campaign.
