Real Madrid unveil a new away kit ahead of the 2024/25 season
Real Madrid have revealed their kit ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
The Spanish giants will wear an orange shirt for their away games next season, sporting a bold design as they hope to hang on to both their La Liga and Champions League titles. An astral, invisible pattern runs across their jersey, symbolizing the stars in the night sky.
In a statement released by the club, Madrid revealed the inspiration behind its unique look, explaining that the design was taken from “the stars seen in the sky outside the Santiago Bernabeu.”
The team continued and said: “Its formation is based on the idea that it doesn’t matter where the team competes because Real Madrid fans are always connected to the stars in space.
Madrid’s new away kit is reminiscent of the third kit they sported in the 2013/14 season – the same campaign that saw them claim their 10th Champions League title in stunning fashion.
Next season, this shirt will be worn by stars such as Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior and, of course, new signing Kylian Mbappe.
The Spanish champions unveiled their new home kit in June, with Los Blancos unveiling a minimalist, classic design that highlights the club’s long DNA.
Madrid’s La Liga fixtures have been revealed, with the team set to face Mallorca on August 18 to kick off the season. They will start, however, against Serie A side Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup on August 14.
