Rising golfer gets blue-chip funding – Golf News
Promising young golfer Ellie Taylor celebrates sponsorship from leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey.
The ten-year-old girl from Kent, is now ranked in the top 18 female golfers in her age group in the UK and has twice been named “Kent’s Best Girl Under 10” at the Kent Golf Invicta 10s.
Ellie recently competed in the Nick Faldo Futures Series – a national competition with over 1,000 entries. He reached the grand final of the competition held at the Belfry on August 28 and reached the top 10.
Ellie said: “I would like to thank Taylor Wimpey for supporting me. Their sponsorship will help me enter more tournaments and continue to improve my game. I’m excited for what’s to come and can’t wait to keep playing and learning.”
