Scottie Barnes has agreed to a five-year rookie extension with the Toronto Raptors. The deal, which could be worth up to $270 million, would make Barnes the highest-paid player in Raptors history.
NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Barnes intends to sign an extension on July 6. Barnes’ agent, Bill Duffy, met with Toronto managers Masai Ujiri and Bobby Webster to finalize the deal.
