Despite his recent slimmed down clip, Shadab persevered importance of maintaining a consistent process and love for this beautiful game.

Challenges in the T20 format

Shadab also discussed the conditions of the LPL, noting that the stadium in Dambulla was useful for the spinners. Because of this, Shadab emphasized the need for spinners to have a variety of deliveries in their arsenal.

“The pitch was helping us as it was slow and catchy… But T20 cricket is very difficult nowadays, as 200 is easily changed. As a spinner, you have to have your variation because on flat tracks, if you don’t have variation, you can go for runs. But if you have variety, you can take wickets and contain runs. So that’s very important, and it’s important that you put it in the right place,” Shadab explained.
