Shane Flynn is disappointed with the Foxes

It’s been a fantastic season for Leicester City, who, despite some setbacks towards the end of the 2023/24 campaign, still managed to claim the Premier League title.
The Foxes spent one season in this division which many usually refer to as the most difficult to get out of, and next season they will compete with the likes of Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal.
Another player who will not do that is young Shane Flynn, who has decided to leave after seven years.
Shane Flynn was disappointed by Leicester’s lack of attention
Now 22-years-old and struggling with injuries for a while now, Flynn will look for his fortune elsewhere.
Writing post to X (ex-Twitter), it would appear that he has not really enjoyed his time with the club.
‘After seven years at Leicester City, my time at the club is over,’ he wrote.
‘I’ve had some great experiences and made memories that will last a lifetime, but unfortunately I’ve had a lot of downs along the way. I joined at 15 and left at 22 with many life lessons learned and experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today.
‘Honestly, I am disappointed with the treatment and lack of support from the team that I have received in the last year and a half during a very difficult period due to injuries, but I am looking forward to the future. and getting back to enjoying my football again.
‘Thank you to everyone who supported me in difficult times. Your support will be forever appreciated! Onward and upward!’
Flynn’s words show what the other side of football often is, a side that a homogenous society rarely sees.
What has been forgotten is that football players are also people, they want to be treated like that.
