NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has named Rudy Gobert as the worst NBA player of all time. When asked who he considers WOAT (worst ever), Shaq replied, “Rudy Gobert.”
O’Neal was also asked about Ben Simmons, another player who has faced criticism for his play. Shaq described Simmons as “another heavyweight,” explaining, “If you sign a $250 million contract, give me $250.” There’s a reason why I’m walking in a funny way, why I can’t turn my neck and why I can’t do it because I played with my $120.”
Shaq’s criticism stems from his belief that high-paid players like Simmons, who have not performed well, do not respect the game.
