Siddarth Kaul has signed for Northants on a three-game deal

Kaul, 33, played three T20Is and three ODIs in 2018, including two wickets against England at Trent Bridge and Lord’s, and was recently playing for Punjab in the Ranji Trophy. taking 15 wickets at 31.26 this season.
In all, he has taken 286 first-class wickets at 26.44, including 16 wicket hauls, and joins Northants as a replacement for Australian all-rounder Chris Tremain, whose four matches have ended.
“I’m very happy to be here to represent Northamptonshire and I’m very happy to help the team win games and push for promotion,” said Kaul.
“I am confident that I will bring my good mindset and knowledge that will help my teammates to win in any situation in the game.”
Northants coach John Sadler added: “Sid has a lot of football experience, he has played first-class cricket and he is determined to make a big impact when he joins the team.
“He finished his domestic season in India where he found good form so hopefully he will continue with us.”
Kaul is available for immediate selection, and could feature in Northamptonshire’s next game against Gloucestershire, at Wantage Road on May 10.
