Sir Alex Ferguson made a surprising revelation about Man United’s career
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson dominated the Premier League during his time as manager of the club.
The legendary Man United player won 13 Premier League titles with the Red Devils and guided them to two Champions League triumphs during his successful spell at Old Trafford.
Above all, he won 38 trophies and cemented his place as one of the greatest managers in football history.
In a rare interview 11 years after leaving Man United and football, Sir Alex said he misses football and being a manager.
He pointed out that the pleasure of participating in major European games is the feeling that he misses out badly.
In an interview with BBC Breakfast, Ferguson discussed his life after football.
“Yes I miss you sometimes” he said.
“I think the first year I retired, I went to the European finals and I said to Cathy ‘this is what I remember’ – big games, European games.
“So I went to many finals in Europe because I found something to combine, something I wanted to do every day. Because these are big events that United should always be involved in.”

Man United suffered greatly after his retirement, with the club failing to match or even come close to what he achieved.
Since the retirement of Sir Alex, Man United has appointed David Moyes, Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Erik ten Hag but all of them failed miserably to bring success in the Premier League and Champions League.
No one has been able to match his man-handling ability and his mastery on the biggest stage.
He completely changed the team after working for more than two decades, transforming the club from top to bottom and leading them to glory in all directions.
