Surya’s decision to pick the last one instead of taking the 19th

There former Indian cricketer Ashish Nehra asked why Surya didn’t win the 19th over him, the captain explained that the matchups were a key factor in his decision. He also admitted that going forward in T20I cricket, he now has one more reliable bowler to rely on.

“I knew that the 19th over has always been difficult in Indian cricket (laughs). That’s why I gave Rinku the job. For a right-hander to bowl to a left-hander, it is always difficult for the batter. It was great that he used his skills in the best possible way and made my job easier because now I have another option to bowl forward.,” added Surya.
