It was a tale of two ends as Spain and Serbia sealed their qualification for the Paris 2024 women’s basketball finals with victories over Puerto Rico and China, respectively.
Spain, as it did in its first game, advanced with a one-point victory over Puerto Rico 63-62.
With Puerto Rico leading 57-53 after coming back from 15 points with more than four minutes to play, Spain scrambled for the game’s biggest 19-point conversion.
