Major League Cricket (MLC) is set to return for its much-anticipated second season in 2024 after a successful first season in 2023. The upcoming tournament will begin on Saturday (July 6) and promises to bring more excitement and high quality cricket. MI New Yorkthe champions of the first season, will be looking to defend their title as six teams compete in a round-robin format.
Major League Cricket 2024: Tournament structure and venues
The 2024 season will feature six teams: MI New York, Texas Super Kings, LA Knight Riders, Seattle Orcas, San Francisco again Washington Freedom. These teams will face each other once in the league stage which will result in 21 games.
The first 15 games will be played at Church Street Park and Grand Prairie Stadium, and the rest of the group stage and playoff games will be played at Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas. The top four teams will advance to the semi-finals, where the teams that will win the finals will compete against each other.

Four of the six teams in the MLC are owned by franchises from Indian Premier League (IPL), bringing a wealth of information and star-studded programming.
