The Phoenix Suns are releasing forwards Nassir Little and EJ Liddell. By doing so, they free up roster space and gain the flexibility of future signings and trades throughout the season. The team will spread the remaining $22 million over the three years on Little’s contract.
Suns management has high expectations for rookies Ryan Dunn and Oso Ighodaro, and this release gives both players a great opportunity to contribute next season, as well as providing room for some roster adjustments.
