T20 World Cup 2024: Fans mercilessly roast Virat Kohli for his flop with the bat in AUS vs IND match

A legend India beat Virat Kohli faced a tough out when he fell for a five-ball duck after that Australia won the toss and elected to bowl first in the crucial Super Eight tournament of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium. Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood he got Kohli out with a bouncer, he got him out for a duck in his first over.

With this dismissal, Kohli became the second Indian to score two ducks in a single edition of the T20 World Cup. He had previously been chased by a golden duck United States of America (USA) at the beginning of the tournament. The only other Indian batsman to register two ducks in one T20 World Cup series Ashish Nehrawho received this unwanted record in 2010. Kohli has struggled throughout this world cup, with scores of 1, 4, 0, 24, 37, and 0.

Rohit Sharma’s attack

It follows the early dismissal of Kohli, the captain of Team India Rohit Sharma he managed. In a counter-attack, Rohit broke through Mitchell Starc for 28 runs in one over. Soon after Hazlewood’s over, Rohit hit a six off Pat Cummins on the first ball of the fourth over. Just when India seemed to be gaining momentum, rain intervened and stopped the game.
