Tennessee remains No. 1 in the D1Baseball Top 25 for the third week in a row after sweeping South Carolina to win a share of the SEC regular-season title with Kentucky, holding firm at No. 2 after taking a series from Vanderbilt.
Clemson and Texas A&M each move up to No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. The Aggies took two of three from Arkansas to finish the regular season, knocking the Hogs down two spots to No. 5 in ratings. Oregon State and North Carolina hold their place in the next two spots.
Oklahoma jumps to No. 8 after winning the Big 12 regular season title by four games. American Athletic Conference champion East Carolina also jumped four spots to No. 9, while Florida State remained at No. 10.
NC State made one big move of the week, jumping five spots to No. 12 after sweeping Wake Forest, falling from No. 8 to No. 22. UC Santa Barbara made an even bigger move, jumping nine spots to No. 13 after that. sweeping Cal State Northridge and earning at least a share of the Big West title.
Southern Miss enters the rankings at No. 25 after taking a series from Texas State, giving the Golden Eagles nine wins in their last 10 games en route to a second-place finish in the Sun Belt. USM replaces South Carolina, coming off a sweep of Tennessee.
D1Baseball editors and national writers determine the top 25 rankings. Records are for May 18 games.
