KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – You don’t breathe… you gasp…
That’s how teams often feel when faced with a Tennessee Volunteers offense that leads the nation in homers.
Just ask Southern Miss coach Christian Ostrander, whose Golden Eagles lost 12-3 to top-ranked Tennessee Sunday night in the championship game of the Knoxville Regional.
“It’s a long list,” Ostrander said of the Vols. “If you give them something small, they can hurt you. They can do so many things.
“You can’t hold your breath.”
Tennessee (53-11) has now won four straight regionals under coach Tony Vitello.
