The best young midfielders in EA FC 25

In EA FC, you have many intermediate profiles. There’s a heavy-hitting number six, an all-rounder, a high-speed seller, a swinging CAM wing, and many more.

It takes all kinds to make a world and, in this case, a world-beating team on your PlayStation. Just like in real life, midfielders come in all shapes and sizes, and it’s no use trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

Finding talent is hard enough but securing the next generation of top quality midfielders is even harder. Picking up young talent can be critical to long-term success in EA FC 25, as any Career Mode expert knows all too well.

So, to save you the work, here are the best young players aged 23 or under in EA FC 25 who can play in midfield based on confirmed ratings, leaks and rumours.

We feature any player in EA FC 25 who can play in midfield (CDM, CM and CAM) as a starter or another, meaning we have some crackers available.

Unsurprisingly, of course Jude Bellingham the best among midfielders aged 23 or under, with the Real Madrid star rising to 90 overall this year. That promotion is well-deserved following a 2023/24 campaign with Real Madrid that saw him win La Liga and the Champions League. There could be a Ballon d’Or on the horizon, too.

The Bundesliga keeps promising young players in midfield Florian Wirtz (88) again Jamal Musiala (87). His international teammates both enjoyed great seasons with Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich respectively, but it was Wirtz who was crowned this season’s Player of the Season.

Barcelona also boasts two of the most prominent stars in the game. Peter Rated 86 in EA FC 25, the exact same rating as last year, season Gavi given another 83 ratings after injury in 2023/24. Rival of Real Madrid Eduardo Camavinga and comes in at 83.

The Premier League and – unsurprisingly – Chelsea work for the best midfielders. Cole Palmer (85), Enzo Fernandez (82) again Moises Caicedo (82) all featured in the top 20 young players, while Manchester United’s new signings Manuel Ugarte it sneaks in at a rate of 81.

Yes, there are special skills in the women’s game, too. The most promising is Chelsea’s Lauren James which, while properly classified as a player on the wing, can be seen on CAM. He is rated at 86 and has company from the team Sjoke Nusken (81) in the top 20.

In his first appearance at EA FC as a Bayern Munich player, This is Oberdorf boasts an average of 86, with his new partner Klara Buhl he stayed at 83 overall. Both Lyon midfielders Melchie Dumornay and the star of Barcelona Claudia Pina had 83 ratings as well.
