The Crystal Palace man will be on loan at AFC Wimbledon

Crystal Palace U21 goalkeeper Owen Goodman is set to go out on loan again.

As reported by London News Online, the promising stopper will join AFC Wimbledon next season, aiming to gain valuable first-team experience to aid his development.

Goodman, who joined Crystal Palace’s academy at under-13 level, signed his first contract with the club in 2021 aged 17. He has been a key player in the youth teams, playing 24 games for the U18s and 23s. to U21.

Last season, Goodman gained valuable experience while on loan at Colchester United in League Two, where he made 40 appearances in all competitions. His performance there showed his ability and readiness to do something for the first team. (Transfermarkt)

A loan move to AFC Wimbledon will see Goodman work under the guidance of former Charlton Athletic manager Johnnie Jackson.
