The Gunners have opened talks to sign Euro 2024 winner Fabian Ruiz

Arsenal have not made any big moves so far in the transfer window this summer.

It feels like their biggest signing is yet to come, despite the Gunners making David Raya’s deal permanent and close to completing the signing of Riccardo Calafiori.

It is widely reported that the Gunners will sign a new striker and midfielder this summer in order to once again challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title.

Declan Rice has a permanent place on the Arsenal pitch and now they have partnered him with the winner of Euro 2024.

The Gunners have lost Mohammed Elneny while Thomas Partey and Emile Smith Rowe face uncertain futures at the club.

Journalist Duncan Castles says that the North London team has started talks with PSG about looking for Fabian Ruiz.

According to the report, Arsenal must sell one of their current midfield options before making a bid for the 28-year-old.

PSG midfielder Fabian Ruiz could join Arsenal this summer.

It is also possible that the Gunners could arrange a deal like they did with Raya last season, when they signed him on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season.

Ruiz was one of Spain’s standout players in their Euro 2024 win and along with Rodri, formed a strong on-field partnership.

Fabian Ruiz will add experience to Arsenal’s midfield

He would be a great addition to Arsenal’s midfield as the midfielder has extensive experience playing for Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain.

His performances at the Euros this summer attracted Arsenal and they now want to partner him in midfield alongside Rice and Martin Odegaard.

With every passing season, the Gunners came close to winning the Premier League title but Pep Guardiola’s Man City stood in their way.

With a few good additions to their squad, they could beat City and win their first title since 2004.
