A sexual assault and battery lawsuit against former NBA star Dwight Howard has been dismissed with prejudice in Georgia’s Gwinnett County Court.
The plaintiff, Stephen Harper, has dismissed all claims, which will not be filed again. Howard’s lawyer confirmed that no money was paid for his dismissal.
The case stems from a 2021 meeting when Harper accused Howard of sexual harassment. Howard dismissed the allegations, saying their meeting was consensual.
Despite earlier attempts to have the case dismissed without a trial, no charges were ever filed.
