The Slovenian basketball federation honored Goran Dragic by retiring his No. 3 jersey ahead of his farewell game on Saturday, according to Askounis of Eurohoops. Dragic was instrumental in leading Slovenia to the EuroBasket title in 2017 and was named the tournament’s MVP.
“Words and actions are not enough to show gratitude and respect for a great player like Goran Dragic,” commented the president of KZS. Matej Erjavec.
“His extraordinary career, his way of wearing the jersey of the Slovenian national team, and his success on the court speak for themselves.
