The Titleist GT driver’s impressive takeover of the PGA Tour continues apace

The rapid adoption of NEW Titleist GT drivers continued last weekend, as 31 players added a new GT2, GT3 or GT4 model to the portfolio at the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
That includes 25 players who have played with a GT driver in their first PGA TOUR start since the new models were introduced at the Memorial.
The Titleist proved to be the most played driver at Detroit Golf Club with 62 drivers playing (39%) – and 44 of those were GT models, more than the total number of competitive drivers (33).
When the GT drivers made their DP World Tour debut, 28 players changed immediately.
Last week on the Korn Ferry Tour, 25 players put GT in play in their first week of availability.
“Everything [Titleist Golf Club R&D] the team from top to bottom is passionate about making things the best they can be and has a deep understanding of the PGA TOUR and golfers in general,” said Titleist Brand Ambassador Cameron Young.
“They’ve seen everything, and there’s nothing you can bring to them that can’t be fixed or something they can’t try. They all have extensive mechanical knowledge, there is always a solution to what you are looking for.”

GT drivers on the DP World Tour
GT drivers re-introduced to the DP World Tour at the KLM Open, with 28 players moving quickly to a GT2, GT3 or GT4 model, including Titleist Brand Ambassador Marcus Kinhult, who bagged a GT3 9.0 driver before the finish T2 is a sudden death playoff.
At the Italian Open, the Titleist was the most played driver with 61 (39% of the field) plays, compared to 43 (28%) of his nearest competitor. Thirty-three of those were NEW GT drivers, with 15 other players traveling, including:
