There is no significant movement between free agent Klay Thompson and the Warriors

It’s the final month of Klay Thompson’s current contract with the Golden State Warriors, and there’s still a real chance these are the waning days of his 13-year run with the organization. As a decision on his future nears, there has been no significant movement from either side toward a resolution, league sources said. The Warriors maintain a desire to keep Thompson at a reasonable price if other aspects of their plan are redefined. But they weren’t really knocking on his door to draft an extension (which can be signed at any time). Next up, the 34-year-old Thompson appears ready to test the waters of free agency, exploring outside options for the first time in his career.
