Three great base layer options for warmth this winter

Temperatures have dropped this week.
That means, of course, everyone has had to turn up the heater and throw on an extra jumper when we go outside.
It has a big impact on golfers, too.
With the cold wind blowing everywhere we need to keep warm to stay supple and maintain long and smooth swings.
The starting point in the old days was stacking but in recent times the base layer has freed us from this elusive option.
With a skirttight fit they retain warmth and actually aid movement rather than restricting it.
Here are three great options for all levels of golf.
A great entry-level base layer made with stretchy fabrics to ensure you can perform without restriction. It offers high levels of comfort thanks to moisture-wicking and UPF 50 properties that ensure you are ready to perform.
The top is finished with a reflective logo and is made from 97% Polyester and 3% Elastane. White with black details.
This layer is black and highlighted with a gray PUMA Cat logo. It provides the best closeness to the skin because the extreme flexibility ensures that it can fit tightly against the body. This allows you to move without restriction and allows for a full range of motion.
It also features dryCELL technology that wicks moisture away from the skin for faster drying. It is also UV resistant to protect and crease resistant.
Top tip because Under Armor was ahead of the curve when it came to creating base layers. This model is designed specifically for playing golf, providing warmth, and comfort, without restricting your golf swing.
To aid in performance it has a four-way design to provide full mobility in all directions. This layer is super durable to wear like a second skin, with a padded inner lining for comfort. If you’ve never experienced this it can be scary but strangely liberating.
The materials are designed to help reduce perspiration thanks to the padded material and well-placed mesh for increased breathability. This will help keep you warm and comfortable while playing. Made of 87% Polyester and 13% Elastane. Available in black and white.
