India registered their highest powerplay score during the third T20I against Bangladesh at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Despite losing opener Abhishek Sharma early on, the pair of Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav it gave India a good start. At the end of the first six overs, India had posted 82 for one, showing their aggressive intent from the start.

Samson was the man of the match, scoring his maiden century in T20Is with 111 runs off just 47 balls. His knocks were accompanied by fours and sixes, giving India’s innings a much-needed boost. Skipper Suryakumar also played a key role, contributing to a quickfire 75 off 35 balls before being dismissed.
