Tottenham are making progress on the Leeds midfielder

Tottenham are reportedly making progress in their pursuit of Leeds United midfielder Archie Gray, according to Fabrizio Romano, while fellow journalist Alasdair Gold claims that Joe Rodon could move to Elland Road as part of a deal.
See below as Romano posts to X about Gray’s move to Spurs, things are moving forward and hopefully a full deal can be reached soon, although he doesn’t mention anything about Rodon in his update…
??? Understand that Tottenham are making progress with the Archie Gray deal, negotiations are ongoing.
Spurs are optimistic on personal terms after good talks with the players’ camp, the player is open to a move.

Meanwhile, take a look below at Gold’s post about Rodon being involved in the Gray deal with Leeds, in what looks like a very smart piece of business by Tottenham that suits all parties well…
It seems that my piece below is fulfilling to some extent. Understand that Joe Rodon could be headed to Leeds as part of Spurs’ Archie Gray deal. Leeds are the defender’s preferred destination after enjoying last season there. Ipswich have had a £10m bid rejected.

Tottenham would do well to land a top quality young talent like Gray, who has shown great potential during his time in the Championship, looking like a player who is now more than ready to step up to the Premier League.
Leeds will be disappointed to lose such an exciting prospect for the future, but Rodon’s arrival in the deal should mean it’s still very good business for them as the Wales defender did well with the Yorkshire club during his loan spell there.
Big clubs such as Liverpool and Arsenal have previously been linked with Gray by Gipe Me Sport, so THFC will be delighted to have him move into goalkeeping.

Speaking to CaughtOffside about Gray’s future a few weeks ago, Romano also said: “There is interest in Gray from Germany and England, for sure.
“Leeds were hoping to keep Gray and Crysencio Summerville but it may be difficult now after they missed out on promotion to the Premier League, so yes – I expect a move for these two players and we’ll see how Leeds react.”
LUFC need to spend big to sign a talent like Gray and give them a team capable of pushing for promotion next season.
