Undefeated prospect Jordan Panthen signs a promotional deal with Golden Boy Promotions
Golden Boy Promotions announced today the signing of undefeated junior middleweight prospect Jordan Panthen (9-0, 8 KOs).
“I am very happy to sign with Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions,” said Jordan Panthen. “They have big plans to give me the best possible chance to be the next American champion!”
“The super welterweight division is the hottest in all of boxing right now, and with the signing of Jordan Panthen, Golden Boy has added another blue-chip prospect to the mix,” said Chairman and CEO Oscar De La Hoya. “With eight goals in his nine wins, an undefeated record and a growing fan base in Southern California, we expect to see ‘The Patriot’ appear frequently on Golden Boy cards going forward.”
Panthen won the USA National Championship and National Golden Gloves as a rookie, and became a champion in the summer of 2022.
The 27-year-old fighter is based in Los Angeles, CA and trains at the prestigious Brickhouse Boxing Gym under legendary trainer Julian Chua, alongside many world class fighters based in Southern California.
Using his aggressive Golovkin-esque style of cutting the ring combined with a stunning body attack, Panthen scored three quick knockouts at 2024 at the Hangar in Costa Mesa, CA. This victory took place in front of a sold-out crowd, including many world champions and the best champions who were there cheering him on.
Panthen is a very proud American, who wears the national colors in the ring and uses his platform to support the soldiers and first responders who bravely give their lives for our freedom. After a short but very successful career, Panthen took a few years off from boxing to work as a cowboy living the life of his hero, John Wayne, in Arizona and Colorado.
