USA predicted the start of the match vs Panama: Copa America 2024

The USA’s starting line-up against Panama at Copa America 2024 will be led by Christian Pulisic as the USMNT look to secure three points and advance to the quarter-finals.

The United States Men’s National Team got their Copa America 2024 campaign off to a good start with a 2-0 win over Bolivia. The Stars and Stripes are currently sitting at the top of Group C, with Uruguay, and the USA can enter the Knockout Stage by defeating Panama.

Gregg Berhalter answered many questions about his starting XI against Bolivia, opting to start Tyler Adams and Folarin Balogun, and the manager is likely to stick with the players who got his side off to a quick, electric start in their last game.

Here’s what the USA starting lineup could look like as they face Panama in their second Copa America 2024 match on June 27.

GK: Matt Turner – Matt Turner he kept his fourth clean sheet of the year for the USA against Bolivia.

RB: Joe Sally – Joe Scally he grows up for his first place in the Copa America 2024, and gets another chance to perform well against Panama before facing the top talent of Uruguay.

CB: Chris Richards – Despite the 2-0 game, Richards struggled against Bolivia, giving up many things that could have cost his team a goal. He will likely retain his starting spot against Panama, but Berhalter also has Cameron Carter-Vickers to turn to if Richards has another poor performance.

CB: Tim Ream – Tim Ream may be 36 years old, but the defender still leads Berhalter’s defense and will look to help his goalkeeper keep another clean sheet tomorrow.

LB: Antonee Robinson – Robinson continues to be one of the USA’s best, most underrated players, and will shine again against Panama.

CM: Weston McKennie – McKennie is a workhorse for the USA and will be a near-permanent fixture in midfield for Copa America 2024 and possibly the 2022 World Cup.

CM: Tyler Adams – Tyler Adams only played the first half against Bolivia as Berhalter managed the Bournemouth international’s return from injury, but Adams provides a calm, unflappable presence in midfield that is vital against teams with some of the best attackers in the world.

CM: Gio Reyna – Reyna hasn’t recorded a goal or an assist in the USA’s last three games, but the Nottingham Forest man still brings the intelligence and quality the team needs to break through strong defences. He is the best choice of Berhalter’s midfielders to join the USA players in attack.

RW: Timothy Weah – Tim Weah is as solid as they come on the right wing, and is developing a lethal chemistry with Balogun and Pulisic who can easily exploit the lower backlines in the competition.

ST: Folarin Balogun – Balogun all-but earned his first place with his goal against Bolivia, proving he could be the number 9 Berhalter has always wanted.

LW: Christian Pulisic – Pulisic continues to be the USA’s best player, and will look to score his third goal in as many games on Thursday.
