Oleksandr Usyk says he is open to a third fight with Anthony Joshua if both win their next fights.
AJ hasn’t said much about wanting a third fight with Usyk, and you can’t blame him. It would be a good idea for Joshua to turn down Usyk’s offer because he doesn’t need that fight.
After all, it is clear that the Ukrainian talent has his number and he would beat Joshua no matter how many times they fight.
No one can forget how AJ went mental after the second fight, grabbing Usyk’s belts after the contest and throwing them out of the ring.
Joshua then took the microphone and spouted nonsense that was painful to listen to and made no sense. If there was any doubt Joshua was talking vegetable caseit was deleted at that time.
Given that memorable episode, bringing Joshua back up front to face Usyk again is not a good idea. Joshua is better off fighting at the level that his assistant promoter, Eddie Hearn, has been fighting him for the past two years.
Joshua’s Moment of Truth
Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) has already been beaten twice by Usyk, and it would be too much of a risk for him to take that fight before facing Tyson Fury in the heavyweight title bout that the Honorable Turki Alalshikh is offering.
Usyk will face former WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in a rematch on December 21 in Riyadh. He already defeated Fury via a twelve-round split decision earlier this year on May 18 and was arguably knocked out in the ninth round.
Assuming we don’t get another rare situation where Fury is saved from a takedown by Usyk, Oleksandr’s second win is guaranteed. Fury looks shot at this point in his career, and apparently was never as good as the naysayers thought.
Usyk’s Act of Sportsmanship
WBA, WBC, and WBO heavyweight champion Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) says Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) allowed him to become famous, so he feels he owes him for his generosity. So, he’s going to give AJ a trilogy if he wants it.

He is open for a trilogy fight against Anthony Joshua if the two fighters win their next matches.
AJ will face IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois on September 14 in London next month. Although fans and pundits are predicting that Joshua, 34, will win, there is a good chance that he won’t.

He is just compared to a formidable opponent to bring him back mentally or deceive the public.
After the way Usyk schooled him in the second fight, leaving him mentally deranged in the ring, it’s a bad idea to face him a third time. A third loss to Usyk could slow down his cash flow.
