Wasim Jaffer jokingly raises questions about India’s ODI and T20I team selection for Sri Lanka series

Wasim Jaffera former Indian cricketer known for his sharp mind and social media presence, has recently sparked debate with a secret book about absentees IndiaT20I and ODI team in the upcoming series against it Sri Lanka. The announcement of the squad was met with criticism from fans and cricket commentators, as the omission of some players raised eyebrows due to their performances.

Jaffer sparked discussions through a private post on X (formerly Twitter) regarding the absence of certain players from the Indian team. The veteran shared a picture with Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt and Abhishek Bachchan, hinting at the omission Sanju Samson again Abhishek Sharma from the selection. Meanwhile, Sanju once again played an important role in the last game, scoring 58 off 45 balls in a sluggish environment.

India’s last outing on Lankan soil

Last time, when India played against Sri Lanka in a bilateral series, India lost the three-match T20I series 2-1 against Sri Lanka, there.
