Amelia Kerr destroys Pooja Vastrakar with beauty
Amelia Kerr delivered one of the best moments of the game with clean bowling Pooja Vastrakar with a well-hidden googly. On the third ball of the 16th over, Kerr bowled the white leather high outside the off-stump, tempting Vastrakar to a defensive strike.
The Indian batsman, unable to read differently, stayed focused on his crease and tried to defend, but the ball swerved from the top, hit the inside edge and went into the gap. It cut through the stump, sending Vastrakar back to the tent. The dismissal showed Kerr’s exceptional skill and ability to deceive the batsman, highlighting his importance as a key wicket-taker for New Zealand.
