Duleep Trophy 2024-25: India B’s batting performance so far

Yashasvi Jaiswal, the India B captain, was dismissed for 30 off 59 balls. His innings included six boundaries but he could not continue after being caught off the bowling Khaleel Ahmed. Abhimanyu Easwaranwho also opened the match, was dismissed for 13 off 42 balls, caught after bowling Avesh.

In reeds, Musheer Khan again Sarfaraz Khan stay not out, giving away 6 and 9 runs respectively. Musheer faced 52 balls, while Sarfaraz scored his runs in 28 balls. With wickets falling on 33 and 53 runs, India B looked to settle down and build a total. At lunch on Day 1, India B were put at 65 for 2 in 30 overs. The batting rate is slow, with a current average of 2.16 runs per over. The last ten overs yielded only 12 more runs for the loss of one wicket, indicating a strong bowling period from the India A team.
