With India needing just six runs at the start of the 13th over while chasing 97, Pant produced a stunning reverse shot. He changed his grip, sending a length ball, which traveled past the off-stump for a left-hander, that went up over the wicket-keeper most of the time.

The stunning shot completed India’s win with 46 balls and eight wickets to spare, earning them two crucial points from Group A. India’s next game is the much-anticipated match against Pakistan, scheduled for Sunday (June 9) in New York.
