With a dramatic turn of events during the 2024 one day cup champions, Saim Ayub became a victim of Mr. Hamza after attempting a no-look shot that led to his dismissal. This incident happened when the Panthers and Dolphins were hot.

Saim Ayub comes out playing an unspectacular game

Ayub, who is known for his powerful batting style, wanted to speed up the run rate when he decided to show off his finesse with an unspectacular shot. However, his best effort backfired spectacularly as Hamza, a fast bowler, delivered a well-placed ball that caught Ayub off guard. The ball clipped the edge of his bat and was caught at mid-on Muhammad Hurairaleaving Ayub looking disappointed as he returned to the tent 6 (12) times.

The Panthers dominate the Dolphins

Great performances from Usman Khan again Mohammad Hasnain propelled the Panthers to their first Champions One-Day Cup victory, defeating the Dolphins by 50 runs.

Panthers set the stage with a strong batting, scoring 328 runs thanks to a 111-run knock from Usman and a quickfire mid-century Haider Ali again Shadab Khan. The dolphins responded by chasing the wind, led Qasim Akram‘s 65 and half a century since Sahibzada Farhan. However, Hasnain’s bowling performance, which included a five-wicket haul, proved too much for the Dolphins, as they failed to score.

The Panthers will face the Lions in game five on Monday (September 16), while the Dolphins will face Markhors on the same day in a midday game.
