Curran’s all-round performance made the Oval Invincibles successful

Batting first, Oval Invincibles posted a competitive total of 164 for the loss of 8 wickets from their 100 balls. Their innings was bolstered by an impressive 68 runs off 38 balls from the leading scorer, who hit two fours and six sixes, maintaining a strike rate of 178.95.

In reply, Manchester Originals gave a strong effort, scoring 161 for 7 from their allotted 100 balls. Matthew HurstA brilliant half-century was a key highlight of their innings. Despite Hurst’s efforts, the Originals fell short, thanks to excellent bowling by Zampa and Curran. Zampa claimed two wickets from his 20 deliveries, while Curran also claimed two wickets from his 15 dives.

Curran’s all-round performance, including his match-winner and brilliant bowling, earned him the Man of the Match award.
