At other stages of the season, both clubs have shown some fight but their place in the league table is the main concern of the squads.
Pochettino will meet the Chelsea board at the end of the season to discuss performance this season and what the future holds for the Argentine manager.
After only 13 wins in their 33 Premier League games this season, Chelsea have spent most of the season in midtable.
Both their attack and defense were unimpressive even after spending big last summer.
As for Man United, they are ahead of Chelsea by six points, but their performance in the league and Premier League has been heavily scrutinized.
They could end the season with a trophy if they beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final but their problems are there for all to see.
Chelsea have an advantage over Man United
According to the Daily Mail, Man United will not decide on Ten Hag’s future until after the FA Cup final on May 25.
Chelsea will play their last game of the season on May 19, at home to Bournemouth.
Just after their last game, Pochettino’s meeting with the board will take place and if they reach a decision to let him go, they can contact Tuchel before the Red Devils.
This will give the Blues the chance to beat their Premier League rivals and sign Tuchel.
A report in BILD claims that Tuchel would welcome the chance to return to Chelsea and prove himself again.
