So far so good for Arne Slot and his Liverpool team, result against Nottingham Forest notwithstanding.
The Dutchman, despite being heavily watched, has been a quiet beacon at Anfield and that has seemed to translate to his players.
In the space of a few games, Liverpool supporters and detractors already know what they will get when they play the Reds and, in fact, there is not much difference when Jurgen Klopp is in charge.
The Liverpool target could leave the current club in 2025
The top media is still there and perhaps the top line is played at times as Liverpool look to capitalize.
It was a joy to watch and Slot should get all the accolades for that.
In the summer, there may be one or two personnel changes, whether they are enforced at Liverpool or otherwise.
According to Fabrizio Romano, they can be lucky when the previous target is disturbed again.
“One of the players that was considered in Europe in the summer, was Xavi Simons. He is always in the media and there have always been rumours,” he said to CaughtOffside when he released his Daily Briefing alone.
“I kept telling you “Leipzig, Leipzig, Leipzig” in the summer because they were pushing, and finally the player decided to continue in Germany to give Leipzig a chance to win titles.
“In the summer of 25 he will officially return to PSG but remember this; the expectation is on Xavi Simons to try something different.
“It can be guesswork at the moment as no team has anything lined up for him, but top clubs will continue to monitor his progress in Leipzig.
“I am sure there is a good chance Xavi will leave PSG on a permanent transfer in 2025, but it is not something that has been agreed with Liverpool or any other club.”
