Youssoufa Moukoko ‘decides next club’ ahead of Dortmund exit

Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko has decided to join Marseille loanthe report revealed.

The youngster’s agent has recently gone to Dortmund because of a series of fulfilled promises that have left Moukoko wanting to take his talents elsewhere as he wants to finally achieve the skills he has shown in youth football.

Despite favoring his services from England, France and Spain, Moukoko chose to head to Marseille, Fabrizio Romano to reveal that negotiations regarding the loan agreement are ongoing.

Moukoko’s move to Marseille is expected to include the option of a permanent transfer next summer.

Marseille have been active in the summer transfer market. Having hired Roberto de Zerbi as their new manager, the French side have already bolstered their attack with the signing of Mason Greenwood from Manchester United.

There was also interest from Marseille in Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah. The Gunners are demanding around £30m for their home-grown striker – a fee that could prompt Marseille to look elsewhere.

Despite limited minutes in senior football, Moukoko boasts an excellent goalscoring record. His return of 17 goals in 76 Bundesliga games may not be visible but he is averaging one goal in 140 minutes of play.

Last season, Moukoko scored five goals in just 613 minutes – a record the striker’s agent was keen to highlight as he began his search for a new club.

Moukoko’s contract with Dortmund has two years left to run.
