After a thrilling overtime victory against the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Jaylen Brown reflected on the Celtics’ preparation for their fast-paced rivals.
Brown, who scored 26 points in the Celtics’ 133-128 victory, acknowledged the pace of the Pacers and insisted that Boston expected their fast style of play.
“We knew they would be fast. It didn’t surprise us. But one thing you can see on film…they just came off a dogfight with New York and we have to match their intensity if we’re going to win this series,” Brown said, via Jared Weiss.
