Angels Re-Signed Amir Garrett To A Minor League Contract

Amir Garrett is returning to the Angels on a minor league deal, tweets Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com. The veteran will return to Triple-A Salt Lake, where he started the 2024 season.

Garrett initially signed with the Halos after being cut by the Giants in Spring Training. He threw 7 1/3 innings in Salt Lake, striking out 10 while issuing four walks. Opponents managed just three hits and two runs over those eight appearances. The Angels called Garrett up to the major leagues at the end of April. He had the most impact in six MLB outings, giving up three runs on four hits and five walks in 5 1/3 frames.
